Regardless of where one is on the path to an awakening, I think it essential that a person works with the 6 subsidiary exercises given by Rudolf Steiner. They stabilize, strengthen, and enhance perception in preparation for the battle. I wrote a friend not so long ago that all my battles are in my thinking, or with whatever is trying to insert itself into my thinking, whether from myself or somewhere or something else.
