These discussions really make my spirit fly. I have struggled with suicidal thoughts in the past and this is a reason why to this day I would not want to own a gun. I have known several childhood friends who have taken this path. Thank God for young life to inspire growth and love for living/giving. Listening to these discussions between Joe and Douglas have led me to many meaningful conversations with recently with loved ones. I love Joe's questions to break down barriers. I'm asking people if they believe in angels, do you believe in eternity, do we contact are eternal self when we sleep? Where do our insights come from? My life and relationships are becoming so much richer and I really owe a debt of gratitude to this community!
Problem with suicide is that once you reincarnate, you have to address the issue (presented to you in yet another form) again in another lifetime - so best to never murder yourself. 'Thou Shalt Not Kill' applies as much to murdering yourself, as others. Best to sooth your depression with some deep spiritual readings from your favorite source. Mine was always Rudolf Steiner and his works guided me through many a difficult time. Thank you for sharing this profound insight - which may help others who drop by.
I believe in angels, most definetly, I have seen them, one has been with me, that I remember since my 30"s. I too have thought of suicide, but like Tyla said, we have to face whatever it is, or face it again in another life. I think the higher spirits give us our thoughts, along with evil spirits, so we have to be aware of that. Maybe listen to some of R. Steiners work, it has strenghtened me. For me, this life has been painful, but I figure I had much to work through, I pray much, and want to be counted as a soul who worka with Christ for humanities evolution. But I understand the pain and loss can be challenging, and certainly present day events are so discouraging. Peace and love to you.
Thank you Mary! I am in such a better place now, I have two boys and a wife whom I love and I would never allow myself to do such a thing, yet the memory is still there. Your insights into our thoughts being given by high spirits as well as evil spirits rings true and I believe you have hit the mark. Being brought up as a Christian, I asked Christ into my life and adopted His values. But there was definitely a period where I doubted, my left brain took over and told me that logically Miracles like His resurrection could not exist. Listening to the Gabriel's teachings over the last few years has began to open up my heart. Recently the teachings in fifth gospel of Rudolph Steiner have melded my left and right brain or my heart and mind and renewed my faith completely. I have been continually in conversation with Christ through prayer and meditation. My life feels so much richer. My interactions with others feel so much more meaningful. Truly the difference between living in heaven or hell on this earth is living with or without Christ. This is clear to me now, and my life has been, so joyous and my gratitude for it has gone through the roof. I wish I would have shared this instead of just talking about the bad times...Thank you Mary!
I am not afraid to pass. Looking forward to it, just last night my lifelong friend and I said we are ready. We are older, not sure of her spiritual beliefs, she went silent on that after her son passed., I study Steiners work. Yet we both are ready, is that wrong to be tired here? Yes, not many are willing to speak of death.

You don’t hear many people mentioning the pilgrims as you well know but strangely one time in the middle of a Duran geopolitics podcast out of the blue there guest mentioned the pilgrims briefly by name in the middle of podcast. Was so suprised to hear it was in the last year can’t remember which podcast. That means Robert Barnes heard it from somewhere .

Does he think Harold is someone who is worth listening to a yes or no will do please & I’m assuming he knows who I’m talking about.

I want to get the one about John, the baptist and John of revelation, I find the author easily understandable. Somehow we must forgive all , including ourselves, for humanity to evolve, so Thanks for the recomendation.
