HI - I am not in the path of the eclipse but am preparing for meditating on the presence of the counter-forces of light; forceful thinking and imaginations of the presence of God, Christ and the true image of the Human Being out of Rudolf Steiner's spiritual science. Suggestion: is there a meditation and prayer practice we can use during this time "globally" perhaps to counter the goals of the evil forces and what they want to achieve? Thanks.
Fascinating. My wife and I went to Paducah on a road trip out west a couple years ago. It was a strange and beautiful place right on the water, where two major rivers met. There was a giant body of water created nearby in Tennessee where we stayed the night, where nuclear weapons were made, or something, according to the stories, and Roosevelts wife had a burm built to preserve the town. Which was, according to locals, haunted.
Douglas says so much when he speaks, in passing, that it triggers multiple avenues of research for me, like rabbit holes. For example, J.R.R. Tolkien very briefly mentions dragons from the moon coming down to middle earth at the end for the great war. I’m like, what the hell, the moon? So there is clearly something about the moon holding or capturing entities that are altogether unpleasant, perhaps keeping them safely locked away from us here on pleasant earth. Maybe this is why when Atlantis tried to bring the moon down to earth, it brought great destruction. Obviously most of your Steiner folks will probably already have clear answers for these questions, but it’s tasty food for thought.
Furthermore, the idea of living darkness is enough to send shivers down the spine. I know people in my working life, who literally go out of their way to try to be in the path of the darkness and make an event out of it. Eclipse followers that is. It is somewhat surprising, though when I consider the gestalt of their character perhaps not so much, that there are people who are infested or infected by some of these lunar entities and perhaps unconsciously feel the need to go stand in the path of the living darkness.
I for one will heed the warning to avoid the path of this eclipse. We will be in South America in April, perhaps it avoids the continent altogether.
Douglas is always 10 steps ahead. I’m grateful to have stumbled into this podcast and his and Tyla’s work, especially because his interpretation of Steiner is so illuminating for a neophyte.
